Walk-in Interview

For Recruitment of Laboratory Technical Assistants on Contract
The Indian Institute of Science Education and Research, Thiruvananthapuram (IISER-TVM) is conducting a walk-in interview from 10 am on 3rd  August, 2012 (Friday) at the Institute for selecting suitable persons meeting the following eligibility criteria for short term positions of Laboratory Technical Assistants.  
  •  Qualifications:  MSc in any area of Biological Sciences, Chemistry or Physics
  •  Age:  Below 30 years
 
  • Number of positions:   Biology-4, Chemistry-5, Physics-3 [1 post each for Biology and Chemistry is reserved for OBC]
 
  • Job profile: Assisting undergraduate students in Biology, Chemistry and Physics   laboratory courses, day-to-day laboratory maintenance, organizing lab essentials in the undergraduate and research laboratories etc.
 
  • Terms of employment:
 
  1. The positions are purely temporary for a period of one year and will
not be extended.
  1. Remuneration:  Rs. 10,000/- (consolidated) per month.
  2. Selected candidates will have to join duty within one week.
 
  • Candidates having the prescribed eligibility criteria may attend the Walk-in Interview with their Bio-data with photograph and original certificates with copies.
 
  • No TA/DA will be paid for appearing in the interview.
