Abstract : Abstract: Cancer genomics has revealed a high degree of mutational and transcriptional complexity in human tumors. This poses a challenge in distinguishing changes that contribute to disease from those that are incidental. Understanding the combinations of genetic alterations that drive specific types of cancer may allow for better targeted therapeutic approaches. I will discuss how we have used a genetic model to identify combinations of cooperating cancer genes, and their impact on cancer metabolism.
