Dr Kana M Sureshan, Associate Professor in the School of Chemistry, has been awarded the prestigious Bhagyatara Award for 2018. The award instituted by Punjab University carries a citation and a cash prize of Rs 50,000. This will be presented at a ceremony in Chandigarh in December. The award is given annually to an Indian scientist who has done outstanding scientific research in chemical sciences. Dr Sureshan was chosen for this award based on his work done at IISER Thiruvananthapuram. Congratulations to Dr Sureshan!
