Ph.D. Programme

Ph.D. Admissions at IISER Thiruvananthapuram for Academic Year beginning August 2009

Applications are invited from highly motivated candidates for admission to the Ph.D. program in IISER Thiruvananthapuram in the areas of Biological Sciences, Chemical Sciences, Mathematical Sciences, Physical Sciences and Interdisciplinary areas.

Minimum Qualifications: M. Sc. Degree in respective and allied disciplines or Graduates in Engineering, Medicine and Postgraduates in Agriculture with an aptitude for research. Minimum marks in the qualifying examination should be 55% and the candidate must have a valid GATE/NET/JEST/ICMR/DBT-JRF/NBHM examination. Satisfying the minimum qualifications does not entitle one to be called for the interview.
