JUNIOR RESEARCH FELLOW

Applications on plain paper with complete biodata including contact details (phone number, email address and postal address) along with photocopies of educational/professional certificates, mark sheets are invited from Indian nationals for one post of Junior Research Fellow for the project entitled "Probing Adenophostin Mediated IP3R Activation using Click Chemistry Approach" sponsored by DST (Department of Science and Technology, Govt. of India) at School of Chemistry, IISER-Thiruvananthapuram. The initial appointment will be for a year but extendable up to three years based on the performance. Completed application accompanying name and contact details (including phone number & email) of at least two referees should reach Dr. K. M. Qualification: Essential – M. Sc. Chemistry/ M. Pharm with minimum 6.0 CGPA on a 10 point scale or 60% marks with NET (CSIR-UGC JRF/LS) or GATE with at least a 90 percentile).

Desirable – Experience in organic synthesis/analysis/assay set up.

Maximum Age: 26 years (relaxable up to 5 yrs in the case of candidates belonging to SC/ST categories, women and physically handicapped candidates)

Remuneration: Rs.12,000/- pm + HRA for first two years & Rs 14,000/-pm + HRA for third year (As per DST norms).

Note Mere fulfillment of qualifications/experience requirements does not entitle a candidate to be called for the interview. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for telephonic and/or personal interview. Selected candidate will be intimated by post/email. No correspondence whatsoever will be entertained from candidates regarding reasons for not being called for interview, conduct and result of interview. No TA/DA is permissible for attending the interview.


JUNIOR RESEARCH FELLOW

Applications are invited for one post of Junior Research Fellow under SERC Fast Track Scheme (sponsored by DST, Govt. of India) entitled “Modeling and predicting novel molecular materials for hydrogen storage: The inorganic route” at School of Chemistry, IISER-TVM.

 

Qualification: Essential – MSc (Chemistry/Physics with minimum 55% marks) with NET/GATE.

Desirable – Experience in Computational Chemistry/Computational Material Science/Parallel Computing.

Age: Below 30 years

Remuneration: Rs.12,000/- pm + HRA (As per DST norms).
