We discuss the recent Higgs discovery result both by CMS and ATLAS at the LHC. In the context of this new result,we shall see the prospect of various beyond standard model scenarios, so called new physics. In particular we address the issues of super symmetry,Universal Extra Dimension, Seesaw models and triplet Higgs mode
