Research Interests

• Quantum Phase transitions in low dimensional and low spin organic insulators as well as Heavy Fermions using extreme temperatures, pressures and magnetic fields.


• Phase diagram of weakly pinned Type-II superconductors: effect of disorder, temperature and the underlying crystalline lattice on the vortex lattice.


• Multiferroics: Study of improper ferroelectrics as well as geometrically frustated multiferroics to understand the non-trivial cross-coupling of the order parameters.


• Set up thermal expansion experiments to study strongly correlated electron systems.
