IISER TVM Hosted Dr. S. Kalyanaraman, CEO, ANRF for Strategic interactions and Special lecture on Advancing India’s Research and Innovation Ecosystem

IISER Thiruvananthapuram hosted Dr. S. Kalyanaraman, CEO of the Anusandhan National Research Foundation (ANRF), for a series of strategic interactions aimed at strengthening the nation’s research and innovation ecosystem.In a high-level meeting, Dr. V. Deshmane, Chairperson, Board of Governors (BoG), and Prof. J. N. Moorthy, Director, IISER TVM, joined Dr. S. Kalyanaraman and the Deans and Heads of Departments to discuss the long-term vision of the ANRF.

 In a dedicated session with Faculty members and Postdoctoral researchers, the CEO provided insights into the ANRF’s ₹50,000 CR grants program. The interaction focused on practical pathways for researchers to access resources and contribute to high-impact innovation under the Viksit Bharat roadmap.

Dr. S. Kalyanaraman,also delivered an inspiring Institute Special Lecture titled "ANRF Vision: Catalyzing India’s Rise as a Research and Innovation Powerhouse."

Dr. Kalyanaraman shared the ANRF’s strategic roadmap, highlighting the ₹1 lakh CR RDI capital program designed to bridge academia, industry, and government. The lecture emphasized the importance of high-impact research and mission-mode programs in driving the nation’s journey toward Viksit Bharat.
