The reservation roster system is followed for direct recruitment to all teaching positions in accordance with the provisions of the Central Educational Institutions (Reservation in Teachers’ Cadre) Act, 2019. The Institute issues rolling advertisements for faculty positions from time to time, based on the requirements of the Institute and the areas of specialization identified for recruitment. Special drives are also taken up frequently to ensure compliance with the reservation rules. The recruitment process is undertaken periodically, depending upon the availability of positions and the academic and institutional requirements.
A post-based reservation roster system is followed for the sanctioned non-teaching positions of the Institute, in accordance with the applicable instructions of the Government of India. The prescribed reservation rosters have been duly implemented and maintained by the Institute.
The Institute issues open advertisements from time to time for filling up vacant sanctioned non-teaching positions, based on the requirements of the Institute. Such advertisements specify the prescribed eligibility criteria and other applicable conditions in accordance with the Recruitment and Career Progression Policy of the Institute and the relevant Government of India instructions.
