Institute Colloquium by Prof. Shekhar C.Mande, President, INSA

IISER Thiruvananthapuram hosted an engaging colloquium on “Climate Change and the Role of Public Engagement”featuring Prof. Shekhar C. Mande, President, Indian National Science Academy (INSA).

In his insightful talk, Prof. Mande highlighted the importance of effective science communication, public participation and building trust in scientific knowledge to address the challenges posed by climate change.

The programme was addressed by Prof. S. Murty Srinivasula, Director, IISER TVM, and brought together members of the IISER community for an enriching discussion on the need for stronger engagement between science and society.
