Title: Gelfand model for Brauer algebras of type C

Abstract:
A Gelfand model of a group or algebra A is a complex representation that decomposes as a multiplicity-free direct sum of all irreducible representations of A. Originating from the work of Bernstein, Gelfand, and Gelfand, the concept was extended by Klyachko using induced representations for general linear groups over finite fields. Recent developments focus on constructing natural Gelfand models for finite reflection groups and their generalizations to complex reflection groups and wreath products. The Coxeter group of type C_r can be obtained from that of type A_{2r−1} as the subgroup fixed by a Dynkin diagram automorphism. Cohen, Liu, and Yu introduced Type C Brauer algebras as the fixed-point subalgebra of the classical Brauer algebra under this mirror symmetry.

In this talk, we provide a detailed discussion of the construction of a Gelfand model for Type C Brauer algebras.
