'Meet the IISER Scientists' - a one day program was organized at Tamil Nadu Science and Technology Centre, Chennai.
A one day program - 'Meet the IISER Scientist' was organized at Tamil Nadu Science and Technology Centre, Chennai, on 8th July, 2014, as part of the Institute outreach program. Prof. V. Ramakrishnan, Director, IISER Thiruvananthapuram, inaugurated the function and addressed the students on the importance of basic science education in India. Scientists from IISER Thiruvananthapuram, Dr. Madhu Thalakulam, Dr. M. M. Shaijumon, Dr. Sunish Radhakrishnan, Dr. Tapas Manna and Dr. Vinesh Vijayan delivered lectures on excitements in Basic Science, to a group of 11th and 12th standard students from Chennai.
