Advertisement for the post of Software Architect (on short term contract basis)

Applications are invited from interested candidates for the post of Software Architect (on short-term contract basis) at IISER Thiruvananthapuram.

Essential Qualification: Undergraduate degree in either Science or Engineering. (Bachelors or Master’s Degree in Computer Application or Computer Science / Engineering preferred)

Age Limit : Preferably below 40 years

Technical Requirements :

• Responsive UI design using HTML5 & CSS3
• Programming in Javascript
• Knowledge in the frontend frameworks:
• jQuery, Bootstrap, Semantic UI.
• Object Oriented Programming in PHP
• Programming in C# ( .Net )
• Knowledge in handling web servers Apache & IIS.
• Knowledge in handing Relational Databases , preferably MariaDB & MS-Sql.
• Hands on knowledge in handling Linux based systems using commands.
• Knowledge in the following MVC frameworks
• Codeigniter or CakePHP or Laravel & ASP.net MVC

Essential Experience:

• Minimum 3 years experiences in the above requirements.
• Experience in the web based software development throughout the development cycle , right from gathering requirements till post deployment maintenance including system based testing are preferred.

Terms of employment :

• The position is purely on short term temporary contract basis
• Remuneration : Rs. 35,000/- to 40,000/- (consolidated) per month depending upon qualification and experience
