Recruitment for post of JRF on funded projects

Indian Institute of Science Education and Research Thiruvananthapuram is a premier autonomous Institution established by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India, for promotion of high quality science education and research in the country.

The Institute invites applications for the following positions on contract basis:

Name of Project Photochemical and Electrochemical Processes in Assembled Molecules and Nanomaterials: Implications of Field and Coherence in Photovoltaics
Funding agency DST Nanomission
Minimum Educational qualification (as prescribed by the funding agency) Post Graduate Degree in Basic Science OR Graduate/Post Graduate Degree in Professional Course selected through a process described through any one of the following:
  1. Scholars who are selected through National Eligibility Tests – CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) and GATE
  2. The selection process through National level examinations conducted by the Central Government Departments and their Agencies and Institutions such as DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MHRD, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISc, IISER etc.
Preference Candidates with work experience in theoretical chemistry

Fellowship amount Rs. 31000+HRA as applicable
Tenure of the post One year, extendable based on performance
Age Upper limit of 30 years with Govt. of India norms of relaxation, as applicable
