Recruitment for the post of JRF

Indian Institute of Science Education and Research Thiruvananthapuram is a premier autonomous Institution established by the Ministry of Education, Government of India, for promotion of high quality science education and research in the country.

The Institute invites applications for the following project positions on contract basis:

Name of the Project Molecular dissection of the role of intracellular redox in bacterial cell cycle progression and pathogenesis
Funding agency DST
Minimum educational qualification Master's degree in any area of Biological Sciences with minimum of 60% marks or equivalent CGPA. Candidates qualified CSIR-UGC NET-JRF/LS, or GATE (with valid score) will be preferred.
Preference Applicants having prior experience in basic molecular and cell biology techniques as evidenced by research work done in a reputed research Insitute or University.
Candidates with experience in bacterial genetics are desirable.

Tenure of the post One year, extendable up to two years based on performance
