Recruitment for the post of JRF

Indian Institute of Science Education and Research Thiruvananthapuram is a premier autonomous Institution established by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India, for promotion of high quality science education and research in the country. 

The Institute invites applications for the following positions on contract basis:

Minimum Educational qualification ( as prescribed by the funding agency) Post Graduate Degree in Physics with a valid score/rank in CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship, JEST, GATE. OR Selection to Masters Degree through National Level examinations conducted by DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MHRD, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISc, IISER etc
Preference Specialization in condensed matter physics and/or electronics with hands on training in thin film devices fabrication and characterizations

Fellowship amount ₹ 31,000 +HRA
Tenure of the post One year. Two more years extendable by evaluating performance regularly. Total 3 years considering final year as SRF.
Age Maximum 30 years preferable with relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC (non-creamy layer)
