The Indian Institute of Science Education and Research Thiruvananthapuram is one of the premier science education and research institutes established by the Government of India in 2008 to impart high-quality education integrated with outstanding research in modern science. The Institute invites applications for the following positions on contract basis:

Name of the post	Junior Research Fellow
Title of the project	Development of miniature lithium ion batteries for on-chip energy storage
Funding agency	MoE-STARs
Minimum educational qualifications (as prescribed by the funding agency)	M.Sc in Physics/Materials Science with a minimum of 60% marks AND qualified in a National level Examination (e.g. CSIR-UGC, NET, GATE, JEST or equivalent).
Desirable qualifications	Working experience in the area of energy materials
Number of posts	01
Fellowship amount	Rs. 37000 + HRA
Tenure of the post	Initially for a period of 6 months (extendable)
Age	25 years
