The Institute invites applications for the following positions on contract basis:

Title of the project	Photonics quantum processor development, National Quantum Mission
Funding agency	Department of Science and Technology
Minimum Educational qualification ( as prescribed by the funding agency)	M. Sc. Physics/M. Tech. in Optics/Optoelectronics and Optical communications or related subjects with 60% or a minimum CGPA of 7.5 on a scale of 10. Selected through National Eligibility Tests - CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) and GATE Other National level examinations by Central Government Departments and their Agencies and Institutions.
Desirable qualifications	Hands on experience with fiber Optic components, nonlinear optical phenomena, lasers

Fellowship amount	37000/- + HRA as per the Institute norms
Tenure of the post	6 months with further extension based on progress
