Minimum Educational qualification ( as prescribed by the funding agency)	M. Sc. Physics/M. Tech. in Optics/Optoelectronics and Optical communications or related subjects with 60% or a minimum CGPA of 7.5 on a scale of 10. Selected through National Eligibility Tests - CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) and GATE. Other National level xaminations by Central Government Departments and their Agencies and Institution
Desirable Qualifications	Fiber Optics (experiments/coursework)/nonlinear optical phenomena in fibers (theory/experiment).
