The Institute invites applications for the following positions on contract basis:

Name of Post	Senior Research Fellow
Title of the project	Photonics quantum processor development, National Quantum Mission
Funding agency	Department of Science and Technology
Minimum Educational qualification ( as prescribed by the funding agency)	M. Sc. Physics, M. Tech. in Optics or Optoelectronics and Optical communications or related subjects with two years of research experience in Nonlinear optics and fiber optics. Scholars who are selected through National Eligibility Tests - CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) and GATE. The selection process through National level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies and Institutions
Desirable qualifications	Hands on experience with fiber Optics, nonlinear optics, microresonator frequency combs, modeling of microresonator optical and acoustic modes using COMSOL simulation tool.

Fellowship amount	42000/- + HRA as per the Institute norms
Tenure of the post	6 months with further extension based on the progress
