The Indian Institute of Science Education and Research Thiruvananthapuram is one of the premier science education and research institutes established by the Government of India in 2008 to impart high-quality education integrated with outstanding research in modern science. The Institute invites applications for the following positions on contract basis:

Title of Project	Quantifying ecosystem services provided by native bees to forests and adjacent cropland: towards a sustainable forest-farm network (No: BT/PR39693/FCB/125/96/2020)
Funding agency	Department of Biotechnology (DBT)
Minimum Educational qualification (as prescribed by the funding agency)	M.Sc. in Chemistry or five year integrated BS-MS with Chemistry as Major Qualification in GATE/CSIR-NET is essential
Desirable qualifications	Prior research experience in spectroscopy and handling spectrophotometers is required. Knowledge in the synthesis of nanoparticles and SERS is preferable.
