Recruitment for the post of JRF or JPF on an externally funded project

The Indian Institute of Science Education and Research Thiruvananthapuram is one of the premier science education and research institutes established by the Government of India in 2008 to impart high-quality education integrated with outstanding research in modern science. The Institute invites applications for the following positions on contract basis:

Title of Project Nanophotonic Approaches Towards Enhancing the Chiroptical Signals in Assembled Molecules and Materials (Indo French Project 6908-2)
Funding agency Indo-French Centre for the Promotion of Advanced Research (IFCPAR/CEFIPRA)
Minimum Educational qualification (as prescribed by the funding agency)
  1. M.Sc. in Chemistry or five year integrated BS-MS with Chemistry as Majo
  2. Qualification in GATE/CSIR-NET is essential
Desirable qualifications Prior research experience in spectroscopy and handling spectrophotometers is required. Knowledge in the synthesis of chiral organic molecules is preferable.
