The Institute invites applications for the following positions on contract basis:

Name of the Post	JRF/ Project Assistant (1 No, Project A1) Field Assistant (1 No Project A1)
Name of the Project	Project A1: Community plant-polliator interactions as the landscape level
Funding agency	DBT (BT/PR12720/COE/34/21/2015 (A1))
Minimum Educational qualification (as prescribed by the funding agency)	Junior Research Fellow / Project Assistant (A1) The candidate should have a minimum of 60% marks (or equivalent grade) in the qualifying degree preferably. Additional qualifications for JRF are : Post-graduate degree in Biological Sciences with valid NET qualification, or Graduate Degree in a Professional Course in Biological Sciences with NET qualification. In case a suitable candidate with the above qualifications is not found, candidates with a Post-graduate degree in Biological Sciences may be appointed as Project Assistant if selected. Field Assistants (A1) BSc in Biological Sciences with atleast 6 months research experience in conduction field-based ecological studies
Preference	JRF/Project Assistant All applicants should have 6-12 months experience in field-based ecological studied such as sampling vegatation OR lab-based experience with molecular work such as running gels. Work experience should be provided as proof of experience

Fellowship amount	JRF = 25,000 + HRA / Project Assistant = 16,000 + HRA Field Assistant = Rs. 10,000/ month consolidated

Age	JRF/Poeject Assistant: 30 years with 3-5 years relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/Women and Physically disabled as per government norms Field Assistant: 28 years
