Minimum Educational qualification ( as prescribed by the funding agency)	Master's degree with first-class in Physics/applied physics/optics/Engineering physics or related subject Should have qualified National Level eligibility exams such as CSIR/UGC NET Category I/II/III, including lectureships and Assistant professorships, GATE, JEST or obtained the qualified degree from Institute of National Importance
Desirable Qualifications	Fiber optics (experiments/coursework) or nonlinear optical phenomena in optical waveguides/microresonators (theory/experiment).
