Title of the project	Physiology and metabolism of lysosomal dysfunction in a lysosomal storage disorder causing Prosaposin mutation
Funding agency	Ramalingaswami Fellowship grant, Department of Biotechnology
Minimum Educational qualification ( as prescribed by the funding agency)	MSc (or equivalent) in Biological Sciences/ Life Sciences or related field
Desirable Qualifications	Candidate should be highly motivated to do research in biological sciences. Prior research lab experience is desirable but not mandatory.

Fellowship amount	Rs.31,000/- + HRA (Scholars who are selected through (a) CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) or GATE) (b)A selection process through National level examinations conducted by Central government departments and their agencies and institutions 25,000/- + HRA for others who do not fall under (i) above.
Tenure of the post	One year (extendable for one year based on the candidate’s performance)
Age	The upper age limit is 35 years on the last date of application with age relaxation as per Government rules
