Title of the project	Investigation of field induced first order phase transitions in effective spin 1/2 systems
Funding agency	Leybold Dresden GmbH
Minimum Educational qualification ( as prescribed by the funding agency)	Doctoral degree in Physics. Specialisation should be on quantum phase transitions in insulating magnets.
Desirable qualifications	Prior experience on thermodynamic measurements like thermal expansion.
Number of posts	1
Fellowship amount	Rs. 60,000 per month
Tenure of the post	6 months extendable to 6 months on satisfactory performance.
Age	Maximum 30 years
