Indian Institute of Science Education and Research Thiruvananthapuram is a premier autonomous Institution established by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India, for promotion of high quality science education and research in the country.

The Institute invites applications for the following positions on contract basis:

Name of Post	RA-I
Name of Project	On the central idempotents of algebras arising from Schur-Weyl Duality and the invariant theory of certain groups
Funding agency	DST-SERB
Minimum Educational qualification (as prescribed by the funding agency)	Ph.D. Degree in Mathematics.
Preference	This project requires strong background in representation theory and some knowledge in Lie group representations and Schur-Weyl duality is preferable.
Number of posts	1
Fellowship amount	47,000/- + HRA (per month)
Tenure of the post	Project duration is for 2 years. Initial contract is for one year and extendable based on the performance of the candidate.
Age limit	Preferably < 40 years
