Minimum Educational qualification ( as prescribed by the funding agency)	Master’s degree in Sciences/engineering or technology from a recognized university and two years of experience in R&D in industrial and academic institutions OR Doctoral degree in Science from a recognized university/equivalent
Desirable Qualifications	Recombinant DNA technology, cytology, plant transformation, CRISPR gene editing

Fellowship amount	Rs. 57,000 + HRA
Tenure of the post	5 years ( subjected to performance review every year)
Age	50 years ( maximum)
