Minimum Educational qualification ( as prescribed by the funding agency)	Project 1 : SRF Master's Degree in Natural or Agricultural Sciences / MVSc or bachelor's degree in Engineering or Technology or Medicine from a recognized University or equivalent; and Four years' experience in Research and Development in Industrial and Academic Institutions or Science and Technology Organisations and Scientific activities and services OR Doctoral Degree in Science / Engineering / Technology/ Pharma, MD/MS from a recognized University or Equivalent.
Preference	Candidate should be highly motivated to do basic research in biology. Academically excellent candidate with technical proficiency in cytology,sequence analysis and recombinant DNA(rDNA) technology especially in cloning, designing and making gene constructs, growing and managing plants. Prior research experience in the above skill areas are preferable. This may be considered as a criteria for shortlisting if many applications are received
