Advertisement for Recruitment of Site Engineers on Contract IISER Thiruvanathapuram (IISER TVM) is one of the five IISERs set up by Ministry of Education, Government of India as national lead institutions for fostering excellence in the higher education and research in science. The institute conducts programmes for Integrated BS-MS degree and PhD with frontier research thrusts in the contemporary scenario. Institutes fully residential campus spread over an area of 200 acres is coming up at Vithura near Thiruvananthapuram with modern infrastructure facilities incorporating green building concepts to provide the best conducive setting for academic and research pursuits offering professional opportunities for engineers to join, share and gain from the major construction activities under way. The Institute is looking for Site Engineers (Civil) for its ongoing permanent campus construction project at Vithura, Nedumangad Taluk, Thiruvananthapuram District. Number of positions: 3 (Unreserved) Qualification & Experience: i) B Tech or BE degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent with three years’ experience or ii) Diploma in Civil Engineering with 6 years’ experience. ii) Age – Preferably below 40 years. Terms of employment: The positions are purely temporary for a period of one year and the appointment may be extended after reviewing performance and institute’s requirement. The positions are meant for the construction site of the permanent campus at Vithura, Nedumangad, Thiruvananthapuram District. Remuneration: Rs. 32,500/- (consolidated) per month. Candidates may be considered for higher remunerations depending upon experience and qualification.
