Recruitment of Web-Programmer & Data Base Developer on Contract Basis

Applications are invited from interested candidates for appointment on contract basis for the post of Web Programmer & Data Base Developer at IISER Thiruvananthapuram.

• Qualifications : Undergraduate degree in either Science or Engineering. (Degree in Computer Application or Computer Science/Engineering is preferred).
• Age Limit : Below 35 Years.

• Number of Positions : 01

• Experience : Minimum two years experience in Web Programming and related technologies
  This includes :
  • Apache server and server extension on Linux or Mac Platform
  • Scripting language proficiency, either PhP or Perl
  • Database programming : My SQL or postgres SQL
  • HTML, XML, Javascript, CSS etc.
  Desirable :
  • Proficiency in use of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, dreamweaver etc.
  • Ability to design and implement aesthetically pleasing and content rich websites.
  • A good working knowledge of a Linux server and / or Apple server.

• The position is purely on short term contract basis
• Remuneration : Rs.25,000/- (consolidated per month)
• Selected candidates will have to join duty immediately i.e. within one week
