The Indian Institute of Science Education and Research Thiruvananthapuram is one of the premier science education and research institutes established by the Government of India in 2008 to impart high-quality education integrated with outstanding research in modern science. The Institute invites applications for the following positions on contract basis:

Title of the project	On the Schur algebras and the Affine cellularity of certain classes of groups and diagram algebras
Funding Agency	IGSTC’s Women Involvement in Science and Engineering Research (WISER)
Minimum educational qualification (as prescribed by the funding agency) Experience Required	Ph. D in Mathematics (Candidates who have submitted thesis can also apply).
Desirable Qualifications	Good knowledge in representation theory Preference will be given to candidates working in diagram algebras and some knowledge of Schur-Weyl duality
Number of posts	One
Fellowship amount	Rs. 58000 + HRA /Month
Tenure of the post	One year (with the possibility of extension for another one year based on performance)
Age	Upper age limit is 40 years with age relaxations as per the Government rules. relaxations will be provided.
