Walk-in Interview For Recruitment of Laboratory Technical Assistants on Contract
The Indian Institute of Science Education and Research, Thiruvananthapuram (IISER TVM) is conducting a walk-in interview *from 10 am on 3^rd August, 2012 (Friday) at the Institute* for selecting suitable persons meeting the following eligibility criteria for short term positions of Laboratory Technical Assistants. Qualifications: MSc in any area of Biological Sciences, Chemistry or Physics Age: Below 30 years
Number of positions: Biology-4, Chemistry-5, Physics-3 [1 post each for Biology and Chemistry is reserved for OBC]
Job profile: Assisting undergraduate students in Biology, Chemistry and Physics laboratory courses, day-to-day laboratory maintenance, organizing lab essentials in the undergraduate and research laboratories etc.
Terms of employment: The positions are purely temporary for a period of one year and will not be extended. Remuneration: Rs. 10,000/- (consolidated) per month. Selected candidates will have to join duty within one week.
Candidates having the prescribed eligibility criteria may attend the Walk-in Interview with their Bio-data with photograph and original certificates with copies. No TA/DA will be paid for appearing in the interview.
