Name of the Post: Junior Project Fellow

Name of the Project: Design of a Surface-Enhanced Spectroscopy based Device for the Rapid Detection of Organophosphate Pesticides and Pyrethroid Insecticides in Fruits and Vegetables

No. of positions: One

Essential Qualification: M. Sc. in Chemistry or five year integrated BS-MS in Chemistry (60 % marks or CGPA of 6.5 in the relevant degree)

Desirable Qualification: Prior experience in photochemistry/photophysics

Age: 25 years as on October 10, 2017; Relaxation will be given for SC/ST/OBC/PD/Women as per norms of GOI norms

Salary: Rs 25,000 + 20% HRA for first two years and Rs 28,000/- + 20% HRA for third year

Duration: One Year, extendable for two more years upon satisfactory performance.

Walk in interview: on October 10, 2017 (between 9:30 am to 12:30 pm) at Chemical Sciences Building, IISER TVM, Vithura, Thiruvananthapuram. Candidates should bring originals of the certificates for the qualifying examinations, age and other certificate during the interview. No TA/DA will be paid for appearing for the interview.
