WALK-IN SELECTION

PHYSICAL EDUCATION INSTRUCTOR & SPORTS FACILITIES COORDINATOR

A walk-in interview/test for Physical Education Instructor & Sports Facilities Coordinator (on short term contract basis) will be conducted on 20^th May 2022 at 10.00 am.

Venue: IISER TVM Campus, Maruthamala P.O.

Interested candidates, who wish to appear for the interview, may bring a cover letter, a recent CV with a photograph and original + photocopies of certificates and should report by 09:30 am.

1. Physical Education Instructor (on short term contract basis)

Essential Qualification:

Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Education (B.P.E or B.P.Ed) from a recognized University or institution.

Desirable Qualification:

• Post-Graduation in Physical Education having specialization in any of the following events: -
  • Athletics, Badminton, Basketball, Cricket, Football, Hockey, Squash, Table Tennis, Tennis, Volleyball etc.
• Diploma in Coaching from any of the centres of Sports Authority of India.
• Three years of work experience from recognized Educational Institution (College or University).
• University/Institution level participation in any of the above mentioned sports discipline.

Job Responsibilities:

• To set up sports facilities for the students.
• To conduct coaching for the students in some of the games mentioned above, in the morning & evening.
• To look after day to day administrative work regarding sports activities and other contingent administrative matters as assigned from time to time.
• To assist in other extracurricular activities of the Institute as per the directions of the Dean (Students Affairs)/FIC-Sports or any other authority of the institute.

Salary: Rs.40,000/- to 45,000/- depending upon qualification and experience.

Age: Preferably below 45.

2. Sports Facilities Coordinator (on short term contract basis)

Essential Educational Qualification:

Bachelor’s degree with good academic records in Sports Management/Turf Management/Business Administration/Physical education/related areas.

Experience:

Should have experience of independently handling and managing sports facilities and sports events in a government/autonomous institution/universities.

Job Responsibilities:

Coordinating, planning, and executing the operations and maintenance of various sporting facilities, Gymnasium, Management of scheduling, inventory and equipment etc. in consultation and coordination with PEI and as per the directions of Faculty In-charge, Sports and Dean (SA).

Salary: Rs.27,000/- to 32,000/- depending upon qualification and experience.

Age: Preferably below 35.
