Functions and Responsibilities

• Providing primary-level management for students and staff and scrutinize medical claims
• Advising on essential measures to prevent epidemics and related health issues on campus
• Chairperson Internal Standing Committee for student mess and Eateries, promoting a clean and healthy community
• Nodal Officer for the Institute’s Group Insurance Policy.
• Liaison with hospitals/ Labs for treatment of students and staff as per MoUs agreed

• Preparation and custody of Medical records of patients.
• Upkeep and maintenance of medical Centre and equipment.
• Control of ambulance and other vehicles assigned with Medical Centre.
