Abstract:In this session, I will present fundamental physical principles behind image formation in MRI, diving into intuitive and Mathematical viewpoints. Philosophy of getting different image contrasts and how they can be used to visualize intricate tissue properties will be presented. The field of MRI will also be presented in the context of other medical imaging modalities.
