I am a molecular phytopathologist interested in the synthetic and developmental biology. I am interested to investigate the function of host transporters and transcription factors against diverse Indian rice pathogens by deploying novel and advanced genomic tools to determine the molecular mechanisms of tissue-microbe-specific behavior in and host by pathogens. My long-term goal is to contribute to improving Indian food security through advanced research and education.
