• Estimation under Adaptive Designs

• Statistical Decision Theory and Bayesian Analysis

• Multiple Comparison Procedures

Eligibility

Candidates with a Master's degree (M.Sc., M.S., or equivalent) in Statistics/Mathematics, Data Science, or related disciplines are encouraged to apply. 

Prior exposure to these research areas is desirable but not mandatory. Enthusiasm for research and a strong mathematical background are highly valued.

Routes for Ph.D. Admission

1. Direct Route

• Candidates holding an independent fellowship (such as CSIR-UGC JRF, INSPIRE Fellowship, PMRF, NBHM, etc.) may contact me throughout the year to discuss potential research opportunities.

• Interested candidates are encouraged to send me an email with their CV, and a brief statement of research interests.

2. Regular Route

• Candidates may also apply through the regular Ph.D. admission process of IISER Thiruvananthapuram during the official admission cycles.

• Applications will be screened according to institute guidelines, and shortlisted candidates will be invited for interviews.
