Abstract : In this lecture, we shall consider various (real, complex, discrete, continuous etc.) open systems (systems with a hole) and study the leaking rate of the same through these holes. An explicit formula for the leaking rate through holes of different sizes will be obtained and the dependence of this rate on the position of the hole will be discussed.
