I am an experimental physicist in the area of atomic and molecular physics. I am interested in visualising ultrafast molecular dynamics using laser Induce electron diffraction techniques (LIED) by measuring complete 3D momentum of all ejected electrons and fragmented ions in coincidence. Furthermore, we are also planning to utilized attosecond pulse-train (Nobel 2023) via higher-order harmonic generation process for investigating time-resolved molecular dynamics.

Since October 2023, I am working as an Assistant Professor in the School of Physics at Indian Institute of Science Education and Research, Thiruvananthapuram (IISER-TVM). Below is the timeline of my research journey:

  • 07.2010 - 09.2017 Integrated-Ph.D. Tata Institute of fundamental Research (TIFR), Mumbai, India
  • 06.2007 - 07.2010 B.Sc. Visva-Bharati, Santiniketan, West Bengal, India

Research appointments

  • 09.2022 – 09.2023 Scientific Employee in the combine DFG project of Physikalisch-Technische Bundesanstalt and Max Planck Institute for Nuclear Physics, Heidelberg, Germany
  • 011.2017 - 08.2022 Postdoc, Hebrew university of Jerusalem, Jerusalem, Israel
  • 05.2017 - 10.2017 Postdoc, TIFR Hyderabad, India
